  3. Purpose of the Caucus and Convention Cycle Elect delegates and alternates to attend the 2010 State Convention. Build the Democratic Party across the state in preparation for 2010 election efforts. Provide Democrats statewide with the opportunity to introduce resolutions and contribute to platform development on issues about which they are concerned.

  8. Delegate Allocation 1200 Delegates 600 Alternates

  9. Delegate Allocation Any county with less than ten delegates may send up to 10 people, with fractional votes, to the convention. In addition to the elected delegates, the following shall be automatic delegates to the State Convention: All state committee members County chairs Congressional district chairs Legislative district chairs Democratic Members of Congress Democratic Statewide Elected Officials Democratic State Senators and Representatives.
