  2. Time Commitment • 6 one hour lessons over the course of the school year. • Should arrive a little early to look through your bin and make sure you have everything you need

  3. Schedule Lessons • Please contact your teacher to schedule your lessons so that you can coordinate your schedule and the teachers schedule. • Please verify dates are available by looking at the Art Masterpiece schedule. • Once you have scheduled your lesson please e-mail Ann Poulson (rapoulson@cox.net) and she will get you on the calendar. • We would like to schedule lessons in a certain time period so we can change out bins. See handout

  4. Life happens • If you have scheduled a lesson and life happens (ie you can’t make it) contact other folks in your grade to see if they can help. • Contact the teacher to let them you will not be able to make it if it is the day of then ask for others to help cover. • If you can’t make it e-mail or call/text Heather Catlin (eecat@cox.net 602-294-4036) and we will try to find someone to cover your lesson • After training meet with the other folks in your grade level to exchange information and look into covering grade level gaps if they exist.

  5. Where are the lessons? • Go to the Art Masterpiece web site: http://sanbornartmasterpiece.yolasite.com/ or there is a link from the Sanborn web site under the “Information” tab – Art Masterpiece. • We are working on creating power point presentations as an option. If you have already created any Art Masterpiece power points please e-mail to Heather Catlin (eecat@cox.net) and we will try to get on the web site for all to use.

  9. Supplies • If there is any feedback about supplies – (ie running low, glue/markers dried out) Please let Cecily Olpin know at olpinc@juno.com • Please help us keep the supplies nice so that we can continue to reuse the brushes, markers, etc.

  10. Student Art Work • In January, we get to provide art work for the District Board Room. • We need to collect student art work from the 1st 2 lessons so that we have it to put on display at the District Office. We will place a box in the Art Masterpiece room to collect art work. • All other lessons can be sent home with the students.

  11. Feedback • We are always looking for feedback as to how to make Art Masterpiece better. • Please send us an e-mail if there is something big you have feedback on. • If you do a lesson and think of a better way to do it please make a note on the paper lesson and e-mail the other grade level volunteers so they can take your feedback into consideration for their lesson.

  12. Gaps in coverage • Kindergarten – Zeig • 3/4 grade – Hart • ADPTS – DeAlba
