What We Do Here: Clubs/Enrichments- BuildOn, Forensics, Model UN, Drama, Team Building, Film, Math Modeling, Mural Design, etc. Dances/Game Nights/Food Nights/Movie Nights Opportunities to meet and learn with students from around the world • Challenging but exciting curriculum • Product Teams- where students work in teams on a school or community project • Student Government • IM Sports • Once in a lifetime Enrichment opportunities w/ travel • After School help, 5 days a week until 4pm Preparing students academically, socially and personally for life after high school.

  6. What is the Schedule:The School Day(sample) • Calendar:190 Instructional days & 10 Enrichment days • School hours: 7:45 am – 2:35 pm (block schedule) • Daily Schedule:Four 90 minute blocks per dayEight courses over two days (A-B schedule)

  7. Integrated Math Unit Question: How can variation of data be represented in the real world? Students are studying how various functions are affected by the changing of the intercepts, variables, and slope / variation. Students explore the basics of exponential growth and decay through the exploration of various powers using negative, fractional, and zero for an exponent.

  8. World Art Unit Question: How do we send a message with pictures? Students learn how to apply the basic elements and principles of design while exploring new skills and techniques in order to convey the desired message or feeling through their personal production.

  9. World Literature Unit Question:  What is a hero? Students analyze literature by identifying common archetypes while identifying elements of the Heroes Journey.  Students synthesize the concepts by writing a Heroes Journey story and an essay.
