Future of Mail by Air Initiative;Reliable data and event reports • Post and Carriers agree that a reliable POA and POD is required • Posts need receptacle ID level info also for the transport segment, require event reporting on possession, uplift, transfer and delivery; CARDIT-RESDIT messaging provides that • “Virtual events” and “assumed data” are completely useless, misleading and harmful • EDI messages need to leave no doubt as to what event is reported and at what level the data capturing did take place at the reported event
