Artistic approach to 3D printing

Custom Prototypes, a 3D printing service firm with a creative approach to 3D printing. After 3D printing all type of engineered parts, prototypes, functional parts and what not, we decided to re- create something based on Art. We focused on few famous painting including Vang Gogh’s “ Starry Night” and self-portrait. Other one was based on the famous painting of Monalisa. All the paintings were 3D printed including the frames. Another project in the presentation is based on traditional stained glass window. All the parts of window were 3D printed in our SLA3 D printer and then hand painted. Custom Prototypes was declared as winner for “starry Night” in AMUG Technical Competition 2016.
