What next • Identify and stimulate collaboration in digital cultural heritage projects • Improve Forum’s presence on the LIBER website • Liaise with Expert Groups e.g. on manuscripts, maps and security issues, organisations such as IFLA , Europeana and TEL, and projects such as DM2E, Europeana Cloud, etc. • Start on 4th Digital Curation Workshop (2016) • Work with UNESCO Content Working Group for their digital Roadmap for long-term access to digital heritage (along with IFLA and many others).  • Plan Workshop on research data management at the 2015 LIBER Annual Conference in London (presentations by younger members of the library profession that have an interest in research data) • Involve more LIBER members in the work of the Forum (a very warm welcome to all!

  6. For your diary • The Rare Books and Manuscripts Section is organising an IFLA Satellite conference in Lyon on 18 August 2014. The theme is Brave New World:Teaching and Learning Special Collections Librarianship. They will explore staff competencies, how to train staff, how to use our collections in education, and finally there will be a session on future trends. • The 6th Manuscripts Expert Group’s conference will take place at the Royal Library, Copenhagen, 9-11 October 2014. The theme is Digital and Traditional Manuscripts: Managing a Great Migration. • The CERL Annual Seminar will be held at the National Library of Norway, on 28 October 2014. The theme is The application of text encoding facilities to digital versions of European early books.
