  1. Psilocybe Cubensis Magic Mushroom - Comparing Shroom Strains You may know Psilocybe Cubensis by many names – gold cap mushrooms, golden halos, cubes, boomers and many more. They derive most of their common names from their cinnamon brown to golden appearance. P Cubensis has become an immensely popular species of psychedelic mushrooms that contain psilocin and psilocybin. These two compounds are the source of their psychoactive characteristics. P Cubensis has garnered its popularity because they occur widely and are fairly easy to grow. There are many ways to grow mushrooms, and the most popular Cubensis shroom strains can be found both in the wild and grown indoors. However, the expense of purchasing special equipment, the difficulty of correctly preparing mushroom substrates, and the time investment required for sterilization are why so many home cultivators prefer using sterilized mushroom substrate bags or a complete Shroom Supply Grow kit that includes everything needed for growing from spore syringe. Researchers have discovered more than 40 shroom strains of Cubensis, which are grown by mushroom cultivators around the globe. However, among these, there are only a few strains that have managed to achieve stardom. Golden Teacher

  2. There is ambiguity around the origins of the Golden Teacher variety. However, the most widely accepted account is their appearance in the 80s Florida. In the mid to late 80s, locals started observing mushrooms with big golden caps and yellow spots. Though they were large in size, they had an elegant appearance. For the Consumer Average to high potency Strong body buzz that gives a sense of euphoria Sense of calm and relaxation Few visuals with colors and geometric shapes Short trips that may last anywhere between 2 to 4 hours May also lead to sharp mental clarity FOR THE GROWER OF THE GOLD CAP MUSHROOMS, GOLDEN TEACHER • • • • • • If you compare the Golden Teacher with other Cubensis mushroom strain variants, you will observe that they are not as quick to fruit. However, the magic mushroom takes the cake when it comes to growing conditions and can grow under environmental conditions very far from ideal and still produce a nice harvest. They are not finicky about substrate type and will grow on many types of nutrients. Old coffee grounds, straw, manure, grains and wood are all possible substrates for these gold caps, and growers and can often produce several crops even when the growth conditions are not optimum. These traits have made Golden Teacher a raging favorite among first-time growers, who realize gregarious harvests even when the conditions are less than ideal. B+ Cubensis

  3. Most people consider B+ as the most popular of all Shroom strains. There is no one official story about this strain's discovery, but some accounts say that a cultivator called Mr.G. developed it in Florida in the 90s. It is possibly a hybrid of P.azurescens and P.cubensis. This resulted in the higher potency of the final product. They have big caps, and they can be easily grown at home. For the Consumer Moderate potency Body buzz makes you feel relaxed and lethargic The visuals are mediocre Trips can last a maximum of 8 hours Less probability of feeling nauseous after the trip FOR THE GROWER OF B+ CUBENSIS • • • • • B+ is quick to germinate. So, you would find the mycelium will completely colonize the substrate in 8-15 days. Another excellent quality of this strain is that it is highly resilient, which means they can grow in challenging conditions as well. When growing B+ mushrooms, you will realize a sizeable first flush. However, the yield will significantly decrease over time. Blue Meanies

  4. Two species of shroom – Cubensis and Panaeolus, have two different mushrooms that share the name "Blue Meanie". The mushrooms get their name from the blue hue throughout the length of their stem. The similarities don't end at their names. The two mushrooms look similar too. However, the Panaeolus species, is two times more potent than the Psilocybe variant. Also, the sport print on the Blue Meanie is a mix of brown and purple. For the Consumer High potency Strong body sensation Intense visuals Sense of euphoria is amazing Trips can last anywhere from 6 hours to 18 hours FOR THE GROWER OF PSILOCYBE CUBENSIS BLUE MEANIE STRAIN • • • • • Like others of the Cubensis family, this shroom strain is not difficult to grow and it can be cultivated of many substrates. www. ancientpathnaturals.com/ancient-path- naturals-mushrooms-and-more-blog/- psilocybe-cubensis-shroom-strains- comparing-magic-mushroom-strains
