Some of his research projects of national importance are • 1. ‘’Study of Phase transitions in single crystals using ESR and other techniques’’, • 2. ‘’Preparation and characterization of Non-    Linear Optical (NLO) Functional     Glasses and Glass Ceramic Materials’’, • 3.‘’Studies on Nano structural changes in     TeO2 and Borosilicate based     glass/ceramic materials’’ etc. • Two research projects are in progress ar the Department of Physics, Osmania University, Hyderabad funded by DST and DRDO New Delhi. • Credit of visiting various countries like Germany and UK and presented research papers at various conferences. He had attended more than 30 national conferences and 6 International conferences and organized more than 10 conferences workshops, refresher course for the benefit of teachers and students at OU campus. • 36 years of research experience, industrial experience, he has participated in the assembly of ESR spectrometer, whose know- how was transferred to ECIL,Hyd, under the MOU of OU in 1978 • Has distinct administrative skills to handle tact fully -the high offices such as Principal-ship, Controller of Examination (NC), and Chairman of BOS of Electronics and Physics, etc.

FDPs Attended: Attended a Three Layer advanced Academic Leadership Programme at Academic Staff College of India, Bella Vista:: Hyderabad from 28-3-2011 to 30-03-2011 Attended, II Phase of Academic leadership Bridge Programme at Wipro, Bhuvaneshwar on 15th and 16th July, 2011 and successfully completed 5 webinar conduced by Harward Business School which makes eligible for III and Final Programme. Attended Advanced Academic Leadership Workshop held at Wipro Technologies, Bangalore organized by Mission 10X Wipro Technologies from 5-8 September, 2011, the completion of which signify “in pursuit of excellence in engineering education through innovation”
