  4. Main Muslim Festivals • Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and a time when Muslims across the world fast during the hours of daylight. • Dhu Al Hijja: The month of pilgrimage during which all muslims , at least once in their life should make the pilgrimage to Mecca.

  5. Main Muslim Festivals • Al Hijja: The Islamic New year begins on the day Prophet Muhammad left Mecca to travel to Mediana.
