Suggested Philosophy for a Youth Club Create an environment that is both challenging and fun by way of developing players intrinsic motives and transposing them into success technically, tactically, physically and psychologically. Therefore Implementing a player centric training model that uses a ‘play based’ learning system.

  5. The Coaches Role To teach and develop To focus on the extent of the effort not the expectation To facilitate a positive growing environment Be an open & over communicator To get to a ‘need’ rather than a ‘want’ with players To understand the player To make the player better

  6. The Parents/Guardian Role To support the player To support the coaching staff To support the club To volunteer time to help To be positive in the Pateadores environment

  7. Appropriate Pre Training/Match Talk Work hard and smart! Listen to all the staff Be inquisitive Be respectful at all times Enjoy the session
