  22. What We Have to Offer

  23. Compensations(For Club Members & Non-Members) • Bring along 7 or more guests for any activity (with one or more nights stay) – the 8th stays free • Lead an activity for the lodge – get at least one free night stay • Organize/Participate in a work party – you stay for free, plus you’ll receive a 20% discount coupon for a winter stay • Large-group discounts are negotiable

Lead any activity for the lodge (with or without an overnight stay) and you are provided a free stay (Note: Lodge outing leaders must meet the Sierra Club’s outings leader standards)

Directions to Lodge • Situated just west of Donner Summit • On Interstate 80 - about 95 miles [1½ hrs] from Sacramento or 11 miles [¼ hr] from Truckee) • Exit at Soda Springs (Exit 174) • Head east on Donner Pass Rd. (old Hwy 40) about 2½ miles • The lodge is on the left side of the road (200’ up the hill) • You can park at the base of the steps or across the road (Please, don’t leave valuables in your automobile)

Individual Adult Rates • Clair Tappaan Lodge (CTL fee includes dinner, breakfast & sack lunch) • Summer • Sunday-Thursday = $46 • Friday-Saturday = $51 • Winter • Sunday-Thursday = $50 • Friday-Saturday = $55 • Members receive a $5 discount off the above • Hutchinson Lodge = $19 nightly($190 minimum) • Backcountry Huts = $10 nightly
