  1. Climate Analysis Requirements and instructions for Part IV of the Climate Project

  2. Overall Typed Double spaced 12 pt. Times or Arial All English and Grammatical Rules apply. Have someone proofread your work. ALL Parts are due on Wednesday May 14th. On that day, you will need to turn in ALL parts or none of them.

  3. Section A Identify the climate type of your city (see your map) In this part, you need to DESCRIBE the climate of your ONE selected city. Do this by describing the trends and patterns that you observe in your data… Do they have a “rainy season”? When is it? Do they have clear and distinct seasons or is the climate relatively consistent? Is the climate extreme or mild? When are their summers and winters…etc.

  4. Section B This is where you explain how the climatic factors effect your city. NOT ALL CLIMATIC FACORS WILL APPLY in most cases. Look over your notes, maps and data and see which factors apply and how they impact the climate. Do not describe your climate.

  5. Section C How might the climate effect the CULTURE of the people that reside in or near your city? Are there relationships between the climate and the way people live? (review your notes on characteristics of culture) Economics, Social Org., Language, Religion, Gov’t, Traditions and Customs, Arts, Technology Fill out the CIA fact sheet for the country that contains your selected city. Are there any facts that may have show relationships? Use the CIA FACTBOOK (google it…) to complete the data sheet.
