Alabama Capstone Exercise: AEMA SEOC Overview for Incident Management

This exercise provides an overview of AEMA SEOC responsibilities in Alabama for efficient incident management, including prioritizing life-saving, incident stabilization, and protection of property. The focus is on needs assessment, coordination, and communication to ensure a unified response. The socially impacted counties include Autauga, Baldwin, Bibb, and more. Immediate priorities include USAR, SAR, IMT, EMAC A-Team, HAZMAT, Water Rescue, and more for effective response within the first 72 hours. Power and water disruptions, shelter seeking populations, and damage assessments are crucial metrics for planning and coordination. Temporary housing and shelters are available within the counties for affected populations.
