The exhibition features:

  • 7 thematic sections
  • more than 250 items across Europe and USA
  • posters, books, record covers, films, magazines, prints
  • historical illustrations of the 1930s
  • compelling images and designs from the 1960s up to the present
  • a selection of films

It includes original publications by

Surrealist artists such as Salvador Dalí, Max Ernst and Hans Bellmer

and presents unsettling graphic works by Karel Teige (Czechoslovakia), Roman Cieslewicz (Poland), and Andrzej Klimowski (UK) to name just a few.

  • the inexplicable juxtaposition of fortuitous objects
