  4. Drugs found in 206 DRD poisonings in 2009, meannumber of drugs, and per cent in 2009 and 2007

Conclusions 1 • Stimulants, drug mixtures and opioidsaredominatingfindingsamongintoxivated in the emergencyrooms • The number of Methadone intoxications is slowlyrising, but not veryhigh at the moment • In the old epidemic of Copenhagen, the total numberof DRD´s is slowlygoingdown, but at the same time the proportion of methadone poisonings is substantiallyrising

  6. Conclusion 2 • We do not reallyknow the optimal tradeoff point of methadone doses in treatmentwhencomparing retention in treatment to mortality. • Is there a kohorteffect due to old methadone users?
