LCLS Safety Management • “LCLS Directorate ISEMS Plan” defines the roles and responsibilities of the Project Management Team (PMT) and holds the PMT responsible for the safe execution of the project. • “LCLS ES&H Plan” defines the standards and requirements for safe construction. • All project work is to be based on the process of job hazards analysis and documented work authorizations. No work is so important on this project that it need be done without due consideration for safety.
Contracted work at Sector 20 and the Magnet Measurement Facility was completed 6/06. SLAC deconstruction of FFTB and assorted buildings was completed 8/27/06. Turner site work commenced 8/28/06. Tunneling operations will start 10/06. Construction Activities 46K contractor hours without injuries
