Aspire Program of MGH and MGH for children Dedicated to providing children, adolescents and adults with high cognitive autism or a related profile with the knowledge and skills necessary to make social connections and lead fulfilling lives Our approach: 3 S’s, strength based and contextual approach Our participants: dx of Asperger’s syndrome, high cognitive autism, non-verbal learning disability, PDD-NOS or related profiles. Some may not have a diagnosis, but have consistent symptoms Our staff: psychologists, social workers, counselors, speech and language pathologists, job coaches, occupational therapists, special educators

Aspire Works: Internship Program Core Competencies of weekly seminars and individual instruction • Working with and communicating with colleagues • Social observing of workplace norms and culture • Improve capacity to manage work related stress • Improvecapacity to notice strengths and develop strategies for challenges • Engage in self advocacy
