An Ongoing Digital Diary • In complement to ‘traditional’ ESL teaching techniques (as proscribed by syllabus and lack of access to computer rooms), students could be required to ‘apply’ what they learnt in class to some sort of wiki/blog space, set up in advance by the teacher accessible by each student (not unlike our dig-crit-lit wiki) • Using Picture Story (for example), students could be taken out with their digital cameras, video recorders, etc. to amass material to be incorporated into a weekly blog • Parameters could be set according to the week’s theme/vocabulary/grammar, and students could be required to work in pairs, groups or on their own
