  8. SLC Data Formats FlashScan is an algorithm that greatly enhances the speed of communication between the Analog intelligent devices. If one of the devices within a single group has new information, The panel CPU stops the group poll and concentrates on single points. The net effect is a response speed greater than five times that of earlier designs.

  10. A Signaling Line Circuit can contain a variety of devices, each with a specific function to perform. Intelligent Detectors to identify a variety of threat conditions – various smoke levels, heat, etc. Addressable Modules to interface the system to conventional input/output circuits and devices – notification appliances, smoke detectors, waterflow and supervisory devices, etc. Addressable Pull Stations for manual alarm activation. These devices actually contain an Addressable Module inside. Loop Isolators to prevent total loop failure from a SLC short. SLC Loop Devices
