  1. Welcome Fourth Grade ParentsGeneral Info Sheet may be filled out now or tonight and returned tomorrow

  2. Morning Notes/St. Francis Lunch • Hand-written note or email the night before about any special circumstances. • Ex.: bathroom use, special seating, elevator use, car/bus line, etc. • $1.00/month for St. Francis Brown Bag Lunch

  3. Classroom Website • Class Website • Homework and announcements posted weekly • Homework copied every Monday for whole week • Occasional daily updates • Other information • Daily Schedule/Specials • Class List • Back to School PP

  4. Pearson Success/Teacherease • Pearsonsuccessnet.com • Science book online • Reading – not entire story • Social Studies – out of order • Log on Sheets • Teacherease.com • Log on/password • Grades posted bi-weekly • Grades lower than 60% are entered as 60%, actual grade will be noted • Questions about site – Mrs. H

Miscellaneous • Breaks: Morning, Recess, Lunch, Afternoon/Dismissal • Copybook collection at end of every trimester • White envelopes are sent home on Thursdays and must be returned no later than Tuesdays • Test grading: • Mark correct answers • Test corrections below 80%. Add 1-2 points for every correct answer.

Math • Grading Scale: • Tests: 70% • Quizzes: 20% • Homework: 10% • Quiz every Friday of lessons learned Monday-Thursday • Test after every chapter (1-2 weeks notice) • Notes taken in copybook for each lesson • Homework • Given Monday-Thursday in both workbooks • Do not do ahead of time! • Must use scrap paper to show all work or homework will not count!

This is optional and will be counted as extra credit for Science.
