Benefits • Ability to use interactive items or simulations • Ability to offer assessments on demand • Provision of feedback to aid the learner • Adaptive assessments • can enable learners to repeat questions over and over until understood • can include ‘hints’ and ‘help’ when learners are stuck • can provide ‘rich’, detailed feedback on where and why an answer was incorrect • can automatically link to e-learning support materials • Can collect all the evidence for a whole group and enable the teacher to customise her/his teaching programme
