  3. The Plan • Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Patrick Henry High School to pack dehydrated meals for Haiti through Stop Hunger Now, an international food relief organization. Roanoke area churches, colleges and civic groups are soliciting donations and volunteers for this event– a project to package 140,000 meals to send to Haiti in the aftermath of the recent earthquakes. • Working in shifts of one and a half hours, volunteers of all ages will assemble packets of rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a flavoring mix with vitamins and minerals. These packets will be shipped to Haiti in April.

  4. How Can You Help? • We need 700+ volunteers • Spots are filling up fast • Hollins is signing up a group for one shift from 2:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m • To sign up, email signuphollins@gmail.com or • Look for sign-up sheet at Penny War counter in Moody

  5. How Can You Help? • We need funds to pay for the meals • Write a check to Stop Hunger Now and drop it off with Laura Miller at the Chapel • Donate club funds to Stop Hunger Now • Drop off cash donations
