  2. The SSB for SO(10) to SO(4) in IIB matrix model ( It is due to the fermion effect. ) We consider BFSS matrix model at finite temperature At high temp region, There is SO(9) symmetry. At high temp. region, fermion decouples. ( no fermion effect ) At low temp region, There is SSB for SO(9) due to fermion effect. breaks to SO(d) SO(9) We expect that the collapse happens by one dimension for each time as SO(d) ← ・・・ ← SO(8) ← SO(9) Thanks to introduction of temperature, we can controll the SSB. In this study, we examine SSB for SO(9) → SO(8) in BFSS matrix model at finite temperature.
