1. TECTONICS Practice Question! These are your COMMAND WORDS! You need to descrine the plate boundaries = say which type of plate boundary they are, name them using the correct key words!! You then need to explain them = say what is happening, what type of movement it is – a quick diagram wouldn’t hurt! So look at it!! It will help you with your answer. Always look at the key – there will be info there that will help you answer Its only two marks so don’t go mad!! Just deal with the 2 plae boundaries that you have been asked for – you don’t need loads of detail.

They give you most of the info you need to answer the question well! Don’t leave this one out!! Many do as it doesn’t have an obvious Question number! This is quite a tricky one – EXPLAIN is your command word. Read what this tricky little question actually wants you to do. Choose only one!! These 2 questions require a lot of REVISION in order to get the marks. You need to NAME the case study first and then answer the question carefully, making sure you are telling them the info that they have asked for!! You must include specific and relevant facts and figures in order to do well at these questions. ‘Develop your ideas’ means you need to mention actual places.
