Reducing the Burden of Heavy School Bags: A Student Awareness Project

This project addresses the detrimental effects of heavy school bags on students' health, particularly shoulder pain and decreased mobility. Over six months, students will engage in discussions, surveys, and visits to renowned schools to explore these issues. The goal is to raise awareness about the negative impacts of heavy bags and to brainstorm ways to lighten their load. Activities include group projects, seminars, and research, culminating in strategies to alleviate the burden, ultimately improving students' physical health and well-being.

  3. Summary • This project is based on heavy school bags. Heavy school bags is very harmful to students. Usually students have pain in their shoulders by hanging heavy school bags, they can not walk to school easily and they become lezzy. Through this, students will be discuss, visit to the some of famous school, survey and conduct seminar. They will aware the negative effects of heavy bags..

  8. Instruction Design • DAY 1 • Explain them about project through presentation and send publication to the students… SHOW TEACHER PRESENTATION

  9. DAY 2; • DISCUSSION • Let them engage in brain storming about survey questions and make survey questionnaire. Evaluate them by discussion checklist list.

  10. DAY 3 • SURVEY • GROUPING • Divide them in groups and allocate the classes and section . • SURVEY • Ask them to conduct with teacher and evaluate them by giving thinking checklist.

  11. DAY 4; • VISIT • Visit in model school and ask questions according to the title. give them questionable check list. • Give them collaborative checklist.

  12. INTERNET SEARCHING • Involve them in a practical in computer lab. Teacher demonstrates and let them to follow her according to the research handout. • Give them research checklist.
