By accommodating face-to-face interaction while in a digital virtual environment, Genesis provides the best of both worlds – human interaction and collaborative digital technology.

  5. Educate · Collaborate · Evaluate with the Genesis language training system How does Genesis work? Genesis is a software application that runs on the instructor and student computers. The instructor and student applications communicate over a standard local area network, allowing for communication and interaction. With the use of headsets, students can communicate with their computers, their classmates and their instructor.

A typical workflow: • Show my screen to the class in order to demonstrate an assignment while speaking to them through headset. • Monitor student screens and audio to evaluate their efforts. • Control a student’s computer to help them through a problem. • Broadcast analog or digital video to all students or groups of students. • Place students in pairs or groups for interactive learning and practice. • Send students a quiz or test which can be collected, scored and analyzed automatically.
