Dentro de esta selección de Mitos hay dos en particular narran acerca del papel que ocupan las plantas en el cosmología ancestral de la región del Amazonas. "El árbol de Agua Grande", que narra la creación del río amazonas a partir de la caída del gran árbol y un segundo mito que atribuye el origen de los vegetales la muerte de una mujer.
