Accelerated Reader (AR) is a supplemental reading program that offers comprehension-based quizzes. Students read books at their ability level and take quizzes independently, with immediate results. AR stickers identify books with quizzes, and students access the program on school computers. With AR, Round Elementary students have shown increased reading engagement and improved reading comprehension. Parents can support their child's reading by reading together, encouraging questions, and making reading a family activity.
