  13. Media Center Expectations • Students should enter the media center as quietly as possible. • Put the book that you are bringing back to the media center in the designated place on the circulation desk. • Always grab a shelf place holder before looking for new books.

  14. Check Out • Students in Pre-Kindergarten are not allowed to check out books. Their teachers may check out books to keep in the classroom. • Kindergarten through 4th grade students may check out 1 book at a time. If the book is lost or overdue, the student may not check out another book until the book is found, paid for, or turned in. • Fifth grade students may check out 2 books at a time. If a book is lost or overdue, the student may not check out a book in its place.

  15. Teacher Information • Anything that needs to be laminated will be done by the media specialist. • Please put a post-it on your items that need to be laminated and leave them on the circulation desk. • When they are laminated, they will be delivered to your classroom! • Any other items that need to borrowed from the media center (i.e., digital camera, overhead projector, books) can be requested through the media specialist or media assistant. Please do not take things without notifying either Mrs. Keith or Ms. Brooks prior to taking them. This will greatly help when we inventory items or need to locate missing items.
