If you are working in science, medicine or technology, you may need something different. Luckily for you, lab workbench furniture has evolved. Here’s some information about amazing lab workbenches. Types of Workbenches Available Lab workbench manufacturers know that it is important for laboratories to have state of the art workbenches. In the past, businesses could adapt a table for their uses, or make do with one kind of workbench. Now there are several different types of workbenches. The oldest type of workbench many laboratories use is called a standard workbench. Standard workbenches have been the norm in laboratories for decades. A standard workbench is long enough and wide enough for someone to lay out all of their work and still have space left over. Instead of a wooden top, workbench tops are made of steel or resin.
