The DPA can accelerate adoption of digital pathology by pooling resources and establishing a unified forum Motivation for the DPA • Opportunity to pool resources to overcome digital pathology hurdles • Support digital pathology education initiatives • Define best practices • Influence/set standards and interfaces • Establish unified forum for digital pathology • Organize an annual conference that addresses diverse needs • Collaborate with other pathology associations (CAP, USCAP, etc.) • Make it easier for new entrants to learn Mission of the DPA • The mission of the DPA is to facilitate education about, and awareness of, digital pathology applications in healthcare.
