Understanding Cell Phone Addiction: Are We Truly Dependent?

This analysis explores the prevalent question of cell phone addiction. While initial findings indicated that many users only spend an average of 2 hours on their devices and text for a similar duration, further questioning revealed a more complex picture. Some participants reported sending over 300 texts daily and feeling the need to carry their phones everywhere. However, the conclusion drawn is that these individuals are not necessarily addicted, especially since they do not respond to every text received. This suggests a nuanced understanding of how we use our phones.

  1. Cell Phones Are you addicted?

  2. Results My results concluded that most people are addicted. My first two question showed that most people aren't addicted. They were only on there phones for 2 hours at the most and only texted for 2 hours. By the third and fourth though I was started to get convinced people are. The people saying that they send over three hundred texts a day. Also that they have to bring there phone with them wherever they went. Then I made my final decision, they weren’t addicted. They never answer all texts they got. If they answered every text then I would have said they are addicted.
