  3. In 1997, Capt. Roger Watkins began his career as a patrol officer for the Lorain Police Department after earning an Associate of Applied Science in Justice Systems - Police Science from Lorain County Community College.

He currently holds the position of Captain for the Detective Bureau and successfully fills the position of Critical Incident Commander, displaying his aptitude for leadership and strategic thinking.
