  3. Different Kinds of Knowledge Skills include: • How to pray • How to study the Bible • How to find texts in the Bible • How to share our fait with others

  4. Teaching Factual Knowledge Learning factual knowledge involves three steps: • Build understanding • Organize the new knowledge • Internalize, or memorize

  5. Helping Children Build Understanding • KQL • List what they already know (K) • Create questions about the topic (Q) • After the lesson is completed, list what they learned (L)
