Participating Chambers of: Overall Objective: • Albania • Bosnia & Herzegovina • Bulgaria • Croatia • Greece • Macedonia • Moldova • Montenegro • Romania • Serbia • Turkey Strengthen SEE Intra-regional trade Strengthen trade with EU Make SEE region more attractive for foreign investments Strengthen competitiveness of SME`s

RESULT 1: “Know-how and management skills of the chambers are strengthened, especially in view of their role in CEFTA implementation” INDICATORS At least 10 seminars for CC staff (national and regional) have taken place with about 20 participants at a seminar At least 9 internships in German CC for staff of CEFTA CC take place At least 2 educational trips to EU Brussels for CEFTA topics take place One CEFTA expert in every CC is designated, trained and works actively on CEFTA issues

RESULT 2: “Chambers offer sustainable services to SME to enhance their competitiveness and make use of CEFTA opportunities” INDICATORS At least 10 seminars per year for SME on CEFTA issues are initiated At least 1 common stand of SME from CEFTA countries on trade fair in Germany takes place every year At least 3 educational programs for SME were elaborated At least 1 cooperation meeting (matchmaking) is organized each year Every CC has a functioning “CEFTA Info-desk” for SME

RESULT 3: “Chambers act as qualified advocates of business community in the policy dialogue for CEFTA implementation” INDICATORS One high-level conference per year with high-ranking administration and political positions present Every CEFTA chamber has a short policy paper or message statement with regard to CEFTA implementation At least 3 publications per year on CEFTA implementation and results will be produced and distributed A promotion campaign for CEFTA region towards German business community is implemented

  6. RESULT 4: “Chambers of CEFTA countries have developed a regular and systematic know-how exchange and implemented joint activities” INDICATORS At least 10 CC staff persons are exchanged for internships within the project partner CC Web-links among all CC with regard to CEFTA information and contacts are established At least 3 working groups meet regularly, document their activities and results and contribute actively to at least 3 new initiatives within CEFTA At least 3 educational trips from beneficiary to non-beneficiary chambers CC with topic of Free trade – CEFTA or EU
