Plans/Emphases • Continue hiring top federal & contract staff – future leaders • Continue and expand partnerships • Climate Test Bed (about 25% of fed/contract staff involved) • The new Climate Forecast System (CFS) – push/compare • Supercomputing power – for development & operations • Next Reanalysis – Ongoing Analysis of the Climate System • NAME – reap the research and applications benefits • Can we begin to fill prediction gaps – Week 3, 4 • International humanitarian support
