  4. Pre-Inspection Checklist IMPORTANT! • Inspection time is noted in the top right corner. • This sheet should be reviewed and initialed prior to the inspection. • Please have it on hand when the inspectors arrive. • Please come prepared, on-time, and ready to work with the inspectors.

INSPECTION PROCESS IMPORTANT NOTES 2 INSPECTIONS OCCUR • Inspection time is noted on the Pre-Inspection Checklist. • House Manager (or president) must be present. • To change inspection time, contact appropriate city/county official. • Fire Safety= 14 days to correct. • City/Building Inspection = 30 days to correct.

  7. Common Pitfalls • Fire Safety & Tampering with Fire Alarm Systems • Bamboo • Trash • Tent Policy • Roof & Balcony • Open Flame/Fireworks

  8. Fire Safety • Complete the evacuation plan. • Complete & document 4 fire drills. • Complete routine checks of fire extinguishers. • Do not rest or silence your fire alarm.

  9. Being a Good Neighbor • Behavior • Trash • Noise • Currently a Class 4 misdemeanor • If the person operating or controlling the noise can not be identified, any owner, tenant, resident or manager is assumed to be guilty of the violation • 6:00am - 10:00pm = 65 dB • 10:00pm – 6:00am = 55 dB
