  3. Session 1: Highlights (ages 10-12) • Kayaking! • Hiking the Palisades, Alpine NJ! • Seining! • Wilderness Survival • Fishing in Long Island Sound aboard the Island Current II.

  9. Session 2: Highlights (ages 7-9) • Live Animal Presentations • Explore Piermont Marsh at low tide • “Catch of the Day” Seining • The Science Barge • Birds of Prey

  11. Piermont Marsh • Discover crabs, eels, and more beneath the marsh muck at low tide!

  14. Session 3: Highlights (ages 5-6) • Fish Tales • Nature Crafts & artwork • Live animal presentations • “Catch of the Day” Seining • Sid the Science Kid • Distance Learning with Video Conferencing

  15. Fish Tales • Discovering Nature through Books and Beczak’s Backyard • Featuring books by Eric Carle and Dr. Seuss.

  16. Nature Crafts • Coloring Animals • Painting • Beach scavenger hunts

  18. Sid the Science Kid! • Investigate and explore the natural world just like “Sid the Science Kid”. • Make observations and record them in science journals.

  21. High School & College Interns • They serve as educator assistants and as big buddies to the participants. • Supervise and reinforce the safety for all children. • Help with parent sign in and out.
