  8. Data Protection • A fundamental building block in the systems design; • Regular consultation with the Office of the Information Commissioner • Complete view of which person has access to which information at what stage

  9. Proportionality • Each organisation is only given access to the information that is relevant to their needs. • Each user may only use the information provided for the purposes previously agreed. • Causeway Applications (Criminal record Viewer) require the User to state the purpose for which they need the data.
