Challenges (end) 6- Limited number of interns organisation can absorb 7- Association of unemployed graduates 8- Faculty with little or no industrial experience 9- Inadequate funding for supervised internships 10- Difficulties in transferring credits from a private university to a public university 11- Delays in graduating from a research Master’s degree or doctorate 12- Limited number of well-qualified and experienced supervisors for Master’s and doctorate research work

  8. The Way Forward 1- Provide career guidance services at pre university and undergraduate students. 2-Continuous dialogue with industry and the harmonisation of curriculum. 3- Make teaching, research and extension services relevant to national needs. 4- Conduct/carry out labour market survey on regular basis, every two or three years.
