Most of the original architecture has been preserved and the church itself has the only grounds dedicated to the dead of WWI. The steeple is partially blocked by apartments on two sides, which means that the best appreciation of this fine building is up close.

-ARABELLA is the last collaboration between the acclaimed duo Hugo von Hofmannsthal and Richard Strauss. An addiction to gambling has brought financial ruin on the family of cavalry officer Waldner. The one hope for salvation lies in marrying off the daughter Arabella into a wealthy family.

- The café's name is an allusion to surface mining in Eastern Germany which was stopped in the years after the reunification. The futuristic barstools made of steel tubes and gauges and the enamel signs with instructions to the workers on the brown walls recall the industrial past. The old floorboards and the even older tables create a very dense and nostalgic atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and there is also a range of light dishes and snacks on offer. It opens right onto the flea market.


2.Breakfast at “Sony center” (Shop when done) {Shopping 2}

- Sony Center in PotsdamerPlatz is a large shopping, office, apartment and tourest area. It is comprised of many large Bisnesses, and several shopping and entertainment factors. For those interested in a prolonged stay in the area, there are hotels and apartments for rent.

- The Berlin Wall East Side Gallery is a 1.3km-long section of the Berlin wall near the center of Berlin. Approximately 106 paintings by artists from all over the world cover this memorial for freedom and make it the largest open air gallery in the world.  


2. Berlin Darkworlds underground walking tour {Sightseeing 3}

-Underground station of Gesundbrunnen, 14.70$ American

- The Berlin Dark Worlds Tour offers a unique first hand experience of the underground structures that played a major role in its wartime history. The tour highlights the civilian hiding bunkers, but also on the tour is an explanation of the 19th C pneumatic pipe post system, and the underground brewery cells.

- The Neues museum is now officially opened after it’s reconstruction which began shortly after world war 2. The main exhibits are those of Egypt and of “prehistory” and early history. One main exibit is the bust of Egyptian queen Nefertiti.

2. “Olympiastadium” for soccer game {Entertainment 4}

- The Olympiastadion (Olympic Stadium) is a sports stadium in Berlin. The current Olympiastadion was originally built for the 1936 Summer Olympics in the southern part of the Reichssportfeld (today Olympiapark Berlin). During World War II, the area suffered little damage. After the war, the British military occupation used the northern part of the Reichssportfeld as its headquarters until 1994.  It was also used for 3 matches in the 1974 FIFA World Cup. It hosted six matches, including the final, in the2006 FIFA World Cup and was renovated for that reason. The German Cup final match is held each year at the Olympiastadion.

It is the most complete existing collection focused on the history of the school and all aspects of its work and is accessible to all. The collection is housed in a building drafted by Walter Gropius, the founder of the school.
