  4. In 1960, Fred was head of the Eye Department at Sydney hospital. By Kim Luong

  5. In the 1970’s, he launch a national to eye disease an Indigenous Australian’s eye. By Kim Luong

  6. Fred was great at inspiring people. Many other people volunteered. By Kim Luong

  7. The Fred Hollows Foundation was established in 1992. By Kim Luong

  8. When Fred died of cancer in 1993, his wife Gabby continued the work of the Foundation. By Kim Luong

  9. The Foundation continues to grow thanks to the generous support. By Kim Luong
