Sample This simple sentence guides my A motto that applies to my everyday life is ‘Everything happens for a reason.’ thoughts and actions, and it has been helpful to me many times. A few years ago I had to change schools, and it was not my choice. I had to leave behind friends and an environ- ment in which I was comfortable, and I knew no one in the new school. I kept believing, though, that something positive would result from the move. As it turned out, I met someone who eventually became my best friend. She was new to the school too, and that was an instant common ground for us. ….. Continue to Cite and Elaborate on Second Example. ....
