  4. Testing Task Group Objectives To align testing requirements among states (via the IWG) and the Exchange to enable nationwide interoperability while minimizing market fragmentation. To assure that the testing guides are vetted and ready to be used for Exchange production testing process by 10/1/12.

Task Group Approach Phase 1:  Pilot Test Guides and Pilot • Step 1: Harmonize the Exchange and IWG test guides • Joint Wiki Site - http://exchange-iwg.wikispaces.com/ • Review example Exchange test cases and IWG test specifications • Step 2: Analyze test guides to refine scope, test coverage, etc. • Step 3: Develop SOAP UI test scripts • Step 4: Facilitate pilot test and capture feedback: August 2012 Phase 2:  Production Test Guides • Refine test guides based upon pilot feedback • Exchange CC and Interop WG approval for production – September 2012
