Is your back pain caused by your wallet? A friend of mine suffered from an acute lower back pain and the doctors diagnosed it as hand crafted leather wallets sciatica. At first he was asked to do certain exercises, then few visits to the physiotherapists and as there wasn’t much improvement with the back pain, he took another appointment with the doctor for further investigation. Can a wallet which is a man’s “near at hand” thing for everything especially when outside the house be the baddy in causing to suffer from a horrible back pain? Well, in this case it proved to be an emphatic Yes! According to Mayo clinic, sciatica refers to pain that radiates along the path of the sciatic nerve, which branches from your lower back through your hips and buttocks and down each leg. Typically, sciatica affects only one side of your body. It can become severe and comes to the forefront with a shooting pain due to sudden jerk or when involved with the lifting of heavy objects. How do we overcome this kind of pain? Well, there could be a myriad of reasons for a back pain. Before jumping into any conclusions, it is best to see a doctor and get professional advice. Having said that, there is no harm in changing your fat or bulky wallet and opting for a slim minimalist wallet. In many cases for men, switching to slim wallets have made them free of their age old pain.
