  3. Events The inventor of the walkman was Andreas Pavel. The walkman was introduced in the U.S. in June 1980.

  4. The Inventor of the Walkman Andreas Pavel (born in 1945) is a German-Brazilian inventor who is the 'father' of the portable personal stereo cassette player, better known as the Walkman.

  5. CD Players

  6. Events CD players were first developed by both Sony and Phillips in the mid 1970s. Between the CD player’s inception and the year of 2007, over 200 billion CD’s had been sold worldwide.

  7. The Inventor of the Cd Player James T. Russell, a senior scientist at the Pacific Northwest Laboratory, invented the technology for the compact disc in 1965. By 1985, Russell had earned 26 patents for various innovations with CD-ROM technology.

  8. MP3 Players

  9. Events A German Company Fraunhofer-Gesellshaft developed mp3 players. Mp3 stands for MPEG Audio Layer III (Motion Pictures Expert Group).

  10. The Inventor of the Mp3 Player Nathan M. Schulhof was the visionary behind the devices known today by most people as MP3 players.

  11. IPods

  12. Events IPods were first released in Oct. 23. 2001. Within any generation of iPods, various models have been available with different sizes of hard drives, at different price points.

  13. The Inventor of the IPod One man that could be named the father of the iPod is Tony Fadell. He was a former employee of General Magic and Phillips who wanted to invent a better MP3 player.
