  1. Swing drums My Life as Kate Through My Years at Milton2005-2009

  2. Katrina I attended Milton Elementary/ Middle School since the fourth grade. I moved after Hurricane Katrina. Fortunately, my family and was not affected by the hurricane but my parents thought it was a good time to move. Earlier on my dad was offered a job in Lafayette but we were going to move during Christmas. Since all of the schools were taking in hurricane victims, we moved at that time.

  3. First Day of Fourth Grade I remember that day as though it was yesterday. I made some new friends. One of their name’s was Courtney J. It was a good first day, I guess. My homeroom teacher was Mrs. Hebert.

  4. Fifth Grade My first day of fifth grade was better than that one a year before. My homeroom teacher was Mrs. LeBlanc. This year was the first year we switched classes. It was also the first year we were called middle school. However, we didn’t have Renaissance, which is only for the middle school. Other than that it was a pretty fun year.

  5. Sixth Grade My sixth grade year was very stressful. We had A LOT of homework. I had Mrs. Boudreaux as a homeroom. My grade was so lucky cause after the end of that year Mrs. Gardener, my favorite teacher at the time, had another job offer to work for the school board, so we got her for her last year at Milton.

  6. Seventh Grade My Seventh Grade year was by far the hardest. I made the volleyball Team and cheerleading squad. I was also in Jr. Beta and Student Council.

  7. Now and ThenFifth Grade to Eighth Grade As you probably already know I am in the eighth grade at Milton. My journey from fourth grade to eighth grade was an indeed exhilarating one. I have great friends who I would do anything for. Although I am saddened that this is my last year I am going to make the best of it. I am ready to go to high school and start fresh all over again.
