1) Documentation for PTC modules: а) general PTC for users; b) PTC_track (by V.Kapin) -> correction; с) PTC_TWISS (Ripken Optics as TWISS3 in MAD8) via studying examples; d) PTC_normal -> as 1.c ; 2) writing a CERN-report on usage MADX-PTC modules; 3) Resolving a current "open questions" on RF (E.Keil, Piotr), plotting (Riccardo); 4) Matching documentation with "Special tracking for CLIC“ (Etienne-Piotr collaboration) 5) Providing a MADX tour for visitors from GSI and Juelich; 6) Beam-beam element for PTC (coding with help from Etienne) 7) MADX tracking with a space-charge ("frozen-beam" approach):Two options are discussed: I.a) usage a “linear” kick-matrix for Twiss parameters (b) with PTC; I.b) a space-charge kicks from "frozen beam" during tracking; II) Model using a new PTC elements (many “Beam-Beam”)(Comments from Etienne !); 8) Usage of multipoles in thick elements (for SIS100 “FAIR”); V.Kapin (ITEP): Plans for PTC modules MADX meeting 20 on the 20 of March 2006, CERN, Geneva
9) Discussion of a new collaboration for INTAS-GSI grant:"Study of the DA, beam loss distribution and radiation damage in the SIS100 synchrotron with account of the nonlinear harmonics of the magnetic field and the space charge.“ Proposed Participants: GSI (HSSP-group), INFN (Turchetti and Bazzani), Prof. Neistadt (Russia), ITEP (Zenkevich, Bolshakov, Kapin), Dubna group (Kovalenko); A participation of MADX custodian (Frank Schmidt) is very needed. Conclusion: 1) This is my final visit in a frames of Work-packages for ITEP-CERN collaboration on MADX. 2) V.Kapin will continue to work as module keeper for PTC_track. 3) Collaboration ITEP-CERN on MADX will continue on the tracking with a space-charge ("frozen-beam" model); 4) A new collaboration within INTAS-GSI grant using MADX is proposed and is under a discussion. Plans for PTC modules (continued)
