  4. The Body’s Response to Stress • You’re body resists the stressor. • Your body goes into overdrive! • Your immune system gets weakened. • You feel exhausted or fatigued.

  5. Ways To Effectively Deal With Stress • Eat right—boost your immune system. • Practice good time management. • Exercise. • Use relaxation techniques. • Talk about it! Let it out! Laugh! Cry! • Look at the way you see things. • Ask for help.

  7. Self Talk & Perception • Do you ever catch yourself often saying things like, “I hate this. I’m not going to get what I want anyway. What’s the point? Nothing ever works out.” • Are you angry, upset, or sad most of the time? • Do you feel like things in life have to happen a certain way, and feel hopeless when they don’t? • Would your friends say that you’re pretty negative?

  8. When to Get Help • When should I get help? • When I don’t care about things that I used to be passionate about. • When I start sleeping through class. • When I feel like I can’t do everyday tasks. • When I feel trapped, like there's nowhere to turn. • When I worry excessively and can't concentrate. • These are symptoms of burnout, and help is needed!
