APANGEA AND IDAHO • Statewide contract for 5th-8th grade students • Primary focus is students performing below grade level in mathematics • Secondary focus is for advanced students as an enrichment opportunity in math • Contract began August 1st; first students should be on the system by August 30th

  3. IDAHO PROGRAM STRUCTURE • Trainings scheduled between August 18th and September 26th • Account Manager based in Boise is coordinating the program • Glen Zollman – former Boise SD high school math teacher • gzollman@apangealearning.com • Three Idaho-based Learning Specialists tutoring and training

DEFINITION Apangea Learning is a research based, online, tutorial solution that successfully combines intelligent tutoring systems with multiple escalations of live teacher intervention to maintain high levels of efficacy while making individual tutorial instruction affordable. Apangea offers tutoring for Math and Writing grades 4-12.

APANGEA ADDRESSES THE “WHOLE LEARNER” • Develops Cognitive Thinking Skills for Learning • Delivers Individual Education Plans for Every Student that Adapt with Student Needs (“AIEPs”) – Live Monitoring • Motivates Students to Learn • Encourages Student “Academic Self-Esteem” Development • Directs Classroom Activity with Real-Time Formative Data • Connects “Just in Time” Teachers for Maximum Student Learning
